Team/Role Overview:

The Client Regulatory Reporting team services Citi’s clients globally with their Regulatory Reporting related queries. The team collaborates with internal and external stakeholders globally.

The Client Regulatory Reporting Analyst will be responsible for dealing with client queries daily, managing exceptions, risks and issues whilst maintaining an open dialogue with Citi’s clients. The analyst will work with wider Citi teams to help establish new controls to help Citi become more proactive than reactive when engaging our clients with Regulatory Reporting issues to ensure Citi are providing an excellent service to their clients.

What you’ll do

  • Direct point of contact for clients with accountability to ensure all client queries for are addressed efficiently and effectively and we are providing a superior client service.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple teams internally and externally to ensure that queries are understood and addressed in a timely manner.
  • Identification and tracking of risks and issues, ensuring appropriate escalation processes and timelines are followed, to drive and deliver improvements where issues are identified.
  • Work collaboratively across time zones to provide the best service to clients and partner with implementation teams to develop and continually improve our controls.
  • Creation, maintenance and enhancements of procedures and process documents to ensure services are being provided to clients in the most efficient way possible.
  • Conducting root cause analysis on trade submissions to identify errors, creation of daily MIS and oversight of end to end remediation of these items.
  • Maintaining a culture and environment where processes, risks and controls are continually monitored, and potential risks escalated on a timely basis

What we’ll need from you

  • Interpersonal: Strong interpersonal skills to develop relationships both internally and externally to collaborate effectively. Ability to influence individuals who do not directly work for you.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) and ability to liaise with external clients and establish effective working relationships and partner across the organization with a clear client orientation.
  • Organisation: Strong organisation and multi-tasking skills. Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities along with a desire to work in a dynamic environment is key.
  • Analytical: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. We work to find solutions to the challenges we come across.
  • Self-reliant, good problem solver results oriented.
  • Strong risk management and control mindset.
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive.
