Citi AIM was established in 2003, and is located across multiple cities in India – Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune and Mumbai. It identifies fact-based opportunities for revenue growth in partnership with the businesses. The function balances customer needs, business strategy, and profit objectives using best in class and relevant analytic methodologies.

About the Role

The Business Analytics Analyst role will be a part of AIM's wealth analytics organization. The analyst will work on multiple projects that would enable growth and profitability for the wealth business by focusing on strategy, product & customer analytics and developing reports to track key KPIs for senior management to enable portfolio monitoring and appropriate decision making. Citi's wealth analytics and data organization is a fast growing organization and the role will provide opportunity for the analyst to work on fast paced projects, partnering with stakeholders across Citi's multiple locations. We are looking for ambitious and motivated individuals who will be a part of our organization and will support the analytics organization add value to Citi's wealth business.

Responsibilities:

• Work on projects spanning reporting, strategy, product and customer analytics and insights
• Work with teammates and stakeholders across multiple locations. Effective communication is a must to ensure alignment with objectives and deliverables.
• Identifies data patterns & trends, and provides insights to enhance business decision making capability through timely planning, process improvement, solution assessment etc.
• Recommends actions for future developments & strategic business opportunities, as well as enhancements to operational policies
• Translate data into behavioral insights to drive targeting and segmentation strategies, and communicate clearly and effectively with business partners and senior leaders
• Continuously improve processes and strategies by exploring and evaluating new data sources, tools, and capabilities
• Work closely with internal and external business partners in building, implementing, tracking and improving decision strategies
• Be compliant with all of Citi's data governance and risk policies
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• Master’s /MCA or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology / computer science from premier institutes with 2 + years of experience in delivering analytical solutions

• Ability to identify, clearly articulate and solve complex business problems and present them to the management in a structured and simpler form
• Hands on experience in SQL, Python, Pyspark
• Hands on experience working with large, complex, unstructured dataset, data warehouses and ability to pull data using relevant programs and coding.
• Experience in banking industry would be an advantage
• Should have excellent communication and inter-personal skills
• Strong team player
