Markets Operations at Citi has embarked on a significant, multi-year transformation covering all aspects of designing and delivering a future state target operating model: risk and controls, regulatory compliance, process reengineering, automation, people and culture, data transformation, technology investment and client service. This is a large and complex undertaking.

The team:

We are recruiting a candidate to join a cross functional global team within the Markets Operations COO Organization. The Program Execution and Transformation team has been formed to support stakeholders both within Operations and across the bank, to design and deliver this multi-year transformation roadmap. Our transformation is underpinned by strategy, investment, change execution and a market-leading change delivery team focusing on program and project management, business analysis, process re-engineering, low code application development and PMO.

Role Overview:

The team is currently recruiting for a Vice President role, where the candidate will be instrumental in supporting our Program Execution & Transformation team as a Project Manager and Business Analyst in one or more projects for Markets Operations covering. The role will combine project management expertise and analytical skills to support cross product and region transformation in partnership with operations teams, risk & control teams and technology partners globally across Citi.

What you’ll do

• Manage and track a set of assigned projects, plans, deliverables to required standards and signed off.

• Proactively manage the communication of status, issue, resolution and risks to the Sponsor and key stakeholders on a timely basis.

• Foster and maintain relationships with business and technology stakeholders acting as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.

• Works with stakeholders in multiple channels to ensure requirements are clearly documented, are strategic, and backed by a business case, cost benefit analysis, tangible benefits and associated KPIs.

• Implement best practices and global consistency, simplifying & standardizing processes, controls and flows.

• Support stakeholders across a program lifecycle such as testing and operational readiness planning.

• Facilitate and deliver change to reduce the risk profile.

• Drives adherence to program processes, procedures, methods, and standards for program delivery as defined by Citi PM standards.

What we’ll need from you:

• Experience in delivering transformation programs in a fast paced, large global financial services firm, ideally in an operations, risk or technology organization.

• Exceptional Program Management skills; Specialized program management and/or reengineering certifications (six sigma, Agile, Lean, Prince 2 or PMP).

• Strong organization and multi-tasking skills. Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities along with a desire to work in a dynamic environment is key.

• Excellent analytical, data management and problem-solving skills and ability to clearly document findings and proposals for solutions using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, Confluence and any other relevant tools.

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. A demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions to multiple levels.

• Exercise independence of judgement/autonomy and can operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

• Experience with stakeholder engagement with the ability to lead and drive working groups with senior stakeholders.

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

• Fluent in English written and verbal

• Fluent in Spanish written and verbal

• Deseable tener certificaciones en gestión de proyectos
• Es mandatorio ya tener por lo menos 3 años de experiencia como un VP de Transformacion y/o Proyectos
• Experiencia con gestión de la transformación y analisis de datos es mandatorio
• Conocimiento o Experiencia con la industria de Banca es fuertemente deseable
