Risk Reporting Officer
Citibank, N.A. seeks a Risk Reporting Officer for its Boston, MA location.
Duties: Optimize processes and infrastructure within the Enterprise Risk Reporting department, focusing on efficiency and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions using innovative technologies. Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to analyze complex datasets and provide actionable insights for risk management. Develop and maintain automated reporting systems and dashboards using Business Intelligence tools including Tableau to visualize key risk metrics. Design and implement workflows using development tools such as Appian to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes. Apply expertise in Python for data analysis, data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to develop predictive models and enhance risk assessment capabilities. Participate in generic software development projects to support the broader goals of the Enterprise Risk Reporting department. Participate in preparing regular and time-sensitive ad-hoc deliverables to regulators and senior management, closely working with industry and regional senior portfolio managers. Resolve complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of basic operations and business processes, procedures, and industry standards. Evaluate moderately complex and variable operations issues that have substantial potential impact and recommend changes to streamline processes as required. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation optimizing processes and infrastructure. Six (6) years of experience must include: Working with large datasets and extrapolating insights, interpreting complex financial models, and using data visualization and advanced analytics skills to evaluate the impact of different economic scenarios; Developing controls and automation across the reporting process to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information presented to senior management and supporting a strong control environment; Utilizing Excel, SAS, Python, and SQL to aggregate detailed financial data from disparate data sources, visualize portfolios and model data, and perform portfolio analytics techniques; Performing deep-dive data analyses and end-to-end data flow tracing of the reporting process for both regulatory reports and internal management reports and identifying the root cause for data concerns and data quality issues, identifying trends, and engaging with stakeholders for remediation; Participating in generic software development projects to drive innovation and processing automation to support broader goals; and Evaluating and enhancing reporting processes and metrics collection processes, establishing governance and oversight, and creating procedures for appropriate control implementation and issue remediation. 40 hrs./wk.
