Junior Java Backend Developer

Our local team working in Budapest at part of our global team: Developers are collaborating to achieve best results, and now we are looking for a Java Developer to join our team.

What you will do:

• Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts to recommend and implement solutions, define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and interpreting code.
• Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications.
• Consult with project owner, clients and other technology groups and recommend programming solutions.
• Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities, conduct testing and debugging.

Your profile:

• Fluent English knowledge.
• University/college degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or in a quantitative field such as Math, Statistics.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Java.
• Familiarity with Agile software development processes.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them to technical functionality.

​Advantages:

• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts;
• Knowledge of scripting languages in Linux.
• Knowledge of Spring
• Knowledge of REST service,
• Web UI: HTML, CSS, Javascript
• Familiarity with Parallel data processing.
