We are looking for a Payroll Analyst to the Citi Shared Services Payroll Team, which is based in Budapest and is responsible for managing 44 countries’ payroll processes across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day to day payroll operations for a set of assigned countries
  • Execute payroll controls
  • Create and implements internal procedures and business requirements
  • Analyze and interpret data and make recommendations
  • Create and manage the business analysis and documentation of system change specifications
  • Exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert to senior stakeholders and /or other team members
  • Manage and report control issues with transparency

Ideal background:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree
  • 2-5 years relevant experience
  • In-depth specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and evaluating processes and data
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel
  • Ability to identify policy gaps
  • Another European language knowledge is a strong advantage (French, German, Spanish, Swedish)
