Officer, Regulatory Reporting, Controllers, Finance

This position will cover the regulatory "Capital Adequacy Ratio" reporting and analysis in Citigroup Global Markets Japan Inc., within the Controllers Organization in Finance Division.

The individual will support the preparation, analysis and submission of Capital Adequacy Ratio reports based on local regulatory capital rules and instructions.

The position will have a high level of visibility within the organization with opportunities to work with other functions in Citi, including the Businesses, Risk, Treasury as well as Technology & Operations.

Responsibilities:

• Report the Daily “Capital Adequacy Ratio” to senior managements

• Report the Monthly “Capital Adequacy Ratio” to local regulators

• Analyze the “Capital Adequacy Ratio” in details

• Support analyzing the required Capital / Sub-debt amount in Capital Plan

• Keep the quality and accuracy of these reports, including any improvement

• Work with Technology team to resolve the issues and enhance the system

• Partner with Risk & Controls team to maintain and enhance an effective internal control’s structure. 

Qualifications:

• 0-2+ years of experience within the Financial Institutions or relevant experiences

• Interest in Financial Products / J-GAAP accounting / Market & Credit Risk etc.

• Language: Japanese – Native Level / English – Business Level

• Application skills: MS Excel, Power Point etc.

Education:

• Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experiences

You will be able to acquire the followings from this position.

- Broad knowledge of,

1. “Capital Adequacy Ratio” such as Basel 3,

2. Financial Products / Derivative Transactions etc, including Market & Credit Risk

3. Various systems in the firm

- How the Capital is controlled in the firm
- Understanding of businesses and overall financial condition of the firm
