The Product Perf Mngmt Analyst is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.

Responsibilities:

  • The Product Performance Management Analyst is a developing professional roles that partners with more senior team members to deliver across product disciplines, assist in the ownership of the product(s) and monitoring drivers for performance
  • Working on the ongoing performance and maintenance of a product or set of products, including client experience, pricing, risk and distribution
  • Applies disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function
  • Integrates industry knowledge and research within product performance area and requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinates and contributes to the objectives of the function and overall business
  • Evaluates variable issues that impact team performance
  • Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources
  • Assists in the implementation of performance improvement strategies, with a specific focus on cross-sell and integration, including the development of competitive analyses, market analyses, product development road maps, market plans, pricing strategies and product line extensions
  • Assists sales and relationship managers in building skills needed to identify client needs, and proposes solutions in line with business objectives
  • Participates in ongoing performance and maintenance of a product or set of products, including client experience, pricing, risk and distribution
  • Prepares materials for the Product Approval Program and related processes
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years relevant experience
  • Understanding of Product Management and/or Product Development discipline
  • Understanding of logistics or Industrial verticals experience with e-commerce solutions preferred
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Ability to applies judgment to solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives
  • Use quantitative or qualitative analysis to solve problems and develop new, innovative solutions
  • Ability to apply creativity to problem analysis and resolution in complicated and/or novel situations
  • Diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers
  • Demonstrates confidence in delivering presentations to clients and senior managers


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

El Analista de Administración del Desempeño de Productos es un rol profesional de un empleado en desarrollo. Será responsable de recopilar, procesar, analizar e interpretar datos financieros y operativos para apoyar la toma de decisiones estratégicas del área. Su labor incluirá desde la extracción de información hasta la generación de reportes con dicha información, P&L, análisis de rentabilidad, creación y optimización de procesos mediante herramientas como Excel y Access.

Responsabilidades Principales:

Análisis y reportes financieros:

  • Elaboración de P&Ls.
  • Generación de reportes para evaluar resultados de los negocios del área.
  • Identificar tendencias y oportunidades de mejora financiera.

Gestión y análisis de datos:

  • Manejo de bases de datos en Excel y Access para la extracción y depuración de información.
  • Creación y mantenimiento de dashboards y reportes automatizados.
  • Análisis de información para la toma de decisiones estratégicas.
  • Seguimiento y administración de ingresos / egresos y datos financieros.

Estimaciones y proyecciones:

  • Generación de estimaciones financieras con base en datos históricos y proyecciones de mercado.
  • Desarrollo de modelos financieros para evaluar escenarios y riesgos.

Optimización y mejora de procesos:

  • Automatización de reportes y procesos mediante herramientas de análisis de datos.
  • Desarrollo de bases de datos en Access.

Calificaciones:

  • 1 a 2 años de experiencia relevante en el sector financiero.
  • Experiencia en el manejo de bases de datos y generación de reportes.
  • Conocimiento de Excel intermedio (Creación y modificación de tablas dinámicas y conocimiento de fórmulas)
  • Manejo y análisis de grandes volúmenes de datos.
  • Pensamiento analítico y orientación a resultados.
  • Atención al detalle y precisión en el manejo de datos.
  • Capacidad para trabajar en equipo y bajo presión.
  • Comunicación efectiva.
  • Conocimiento de Access nivel intermedio (Creación y gestión de bases de datos, consultas básicas y relaciones entre tablas)
  • Uso de análisis cuantitativo y cualitativo para resolver problemas y desarrollar soluciones nuevas e innovadoras.

Educación:

Licenciatura en Finanzas, Ingeniería o afín.
