CITI Market Risk Reporting Data Lead - C14

The Market Risk Reporting Data Lead will be responsible for driving data governance initiatives within the Market Risk function. This includes partnering with stakeholders to define and implement data quality standards, manage data lineage, address data concerns, and ensure compliance with BCBS 239. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of market risk fundamentals, regulatory requirements, and data governance best practices. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for collaborating with senior management, various teams, and regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Governance:Lead the Market Risk Data Domain Governance for critical data elements, including data lineage and data concerns, in partnership with the Market Risk Enterprise Data Office and Market Risk Management.

• BCBS 239 Compliance:Drive improvements in the Market Risk data program to ensure compliance with BCBS 239 requirements for key risk reports.

• Data Quality Initiatives:Participate in and support data governance, data services, and data quality initiatives, including the development and execution of data use cases to enhance the quality of information used for market risk analysis.

• Stakeholder Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and regulatory bodies.

• Control Implementation:Implement and enhance key controls related to market risk data and maintain comprehensive process documentation.

• Ad-hoc Support:Provide ad-hoc support and analysis as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related analytical field.

• Experience:12+ years of relevant experience in Market Risk Reporting, Data Analytics, Finance, or Data Science, with a strong emphasis on data governance and regulatory compliance.

• Leadership:Proven leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and integrate processes across teams.

• Financial Services Expertise:Substantial experience in the financial services industry with a deep understanding of financial products, market risk across asset classes, and experience interacting with senior management.

• Data Acumen:Ability to process and interpret complex data structures, providing insightful and actionable perspectives.

• Problem Solving:Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage effectively against deadlines.

• Communication:Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, collaborate, and lead cross-functional initiatives.

• Technical Skills:Advanced skills in data analysis, databases, and data quality management. Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools is preferred. Proficiency in Python, R, SAS, or other statistical programming languages is highly desirable.

• Language Proficiency:Advanced English skills are required.
