SVP, ERM Risk - Reporting Senior Officer (Hybrid)
The Enterprise Risk & Stress Testing Reporting & Analytics team is responsible for supporting Enterprise Risk Management and Banking & International organizations by creating enterprise and stress testing related reporting across risk categories in the organization. It supports areas include reporting associated with Citi-wide internal stress tests, Concentration Risk, Climate Risk, and Risk Appetite related metrics. The team is responsible for insightful internal business performance management reports for the RMEC, Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and the Board through materials such as the State of Risk and CRO Dashboard. Additionally, the team prepares and analyzes data related to the firm-wide risk capital, risk appetite, capital adequacy, stress testing, and risk/return decisions while shaping and driving the implementation of long-term strategic risk monitoring and management framework.
The Risk Reporting Senior Officer is accountable for managing successful delivery of reporting and projects for the team in areas as described above. It includes various complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas (including all credit, market and operational risk). Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within the Stress Testing / Risk Capital / Risk Appetite and other risk metrics area and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. The Group Manager applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Strong financial markets awareness is a necessity.
The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. As a group manager, the candidate will exercise control over resources, policy formulation and planning, and will be involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area. Full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval may be part of the scope of responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Contributes to the Data Governance, Data Services and Data Quality initiatives across the organization.
Participates in efforts to ensure Risk and Finance comply with the Citigroup Data Management Policy
Assists in centrally acquiring all data related to Risk and Finance management and regulatory reporting processes while ensuring data quality, completeness and consistency across the organization.
Leads the preparation, review, and presentation of risk/financial data summaries for senior management.
Conducts sophisticated financial and credit analysis to identify, monitor and report key drivers.
Manages a group of analysts, analyze and synthesize large data sets using Microsoft Excel, Tableau and database programs, and present analytical results to senior management.
Partners with cross-functional business areas.
Interacts with regulators and lead regulatory reviews.
Engages in project management for multiple cross-functional projects, including coordinating project plans and establishing targets.
Presents to business and senior management results of work and be prepared to recommend courses of actions with senior clients
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
Subject matter expertise regarding risk/finance and banking regulations. Particular knowledge of stress testing, risk capital and risk appetite is a plus.
10+ years experience with Regulatory related issues (Stress Testing, CCAR, GAAP, RWA, etc)
FRM and/or CFA is a plus
Experience in complex project management
Demonstrated effective leadership skills including influencing and negotiation skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Experience with statistical packages, data visualization programs, coding, or other skills are a plus
Excellent communication / negotiation / presentation skills
Education:
Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree
Master’s degree in science, engineering; or finance, economics; or related analytical fields is a plus
Candidates with demonstrated excellence in non-analytical areas of study will be considered as well

$125,200.00 - $187,800.00
