Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.

Duties: Analyze user needs and develop software solutions using Java, J2EE. Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, and model development. Update software and enhance existing capabilities using Hibernate, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Web Services, SQL, PL/SQL. Establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas. Monitor all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation. Provide user and operational support on applications to business users. Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems or issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement. Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality. Consult with users and clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems. Ensure procedures are followed and define operating standards and processes. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems or related field and 5 years of progressive experience as a Software Developer, Java Developer, Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, Associate or related position involving Java application design, development and testing. 4 years of experience must include: Java, J2EE, EJB, JMS, Java beans; Hibernate; Jenkins, Waterfall and Agile methodologies; Spring MVC; Spring Batch; SQL developer, HTML, XML, XSL, JAXB, JSXP; Web Services, Struts, Ibatis; WebLogic Server, Apache Tomcat server, Eclipse; Oracle, DB2, SQL, PL/SQL;  Java Script, EXT-JS, JQuery; and Object oriented database persistence techniques.
