Business Analytics Lead Analyst
Citibank, N.A. seeks a Business Analytics Lead Analyst for its Irving, TX location.
Duties: Leverage analytics to identify enhancement opportunities and more granular insights that can be acted upon, while ensuring adherence to Fraud Policy. Oversee fraud rules, scores, and detection strategies, Risk appetite execution, POS interdiction strategies, and defect analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide strategy recommendations based on data and trend analysis and implement mitigation strategies. Build effective relationships within and outside the Fraud organization to help ensure successful and timely execution of key portfolio priorities. Generate regular and ad-hoc reporting to enable effective monitoring and identification of emerging trends. Assess manual and automated processes to identify potential process gaps and opportunities. Work on key analytical projects within the retail bank fraud and digital fraud analytics team and support the Retail Bank lines of business by utilizing advanced predictive analytical and statistical techniques. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Analytics, Statistics, Accounting, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related quantitative occupation delivering business intelligence (BI) solutions. Five (5) years of experience must include: Performing statistical analysis utilizing data tools including SAS, SQL, and Tableau in Big Data environment; Developing actionable business insights using quantitative and analytical skills, ability to derive patterns, trends, and insights, determine key indicators, and perform risk/reward trade-off analysis; Driving collaboration across teams on cross-functional projects, stakeholder engagement and management; Driving the development of processing documentation, mapping and redesign, business requirements documentation, root-cause analysis, and organizational redesign; and Connecting analytics to business impacts and decision-making and presenting to peers and management.
