The Engineering Team Lead Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team. The overall objective of this role is to drive applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, recognize and retain teams by providing coaching/mentoring, by eliminating impediments, and offering growth opportunities.

  • Manage the stakeholders, partner to develop roadmap, releases / milestones, and be accountable to the delivery.

  • Follow through the corporate mandates in product/project management, adhering to corporate policies and procedures, controls, audits, change management etc.   

  • Provide thought leadership to bring efficiencies across SDLC by planning, keeping track of progress, raising risks, and by taking timely corrective actions.

  • Be change agent and lead agile best practices.

  • Improve communication by having effective meetings, using optimal communication channels, writing executive summaries, tracking & reporting status/risks.

  • Ensure teams are following 100% adherence to IT risk & controls, and best engineering practices.

  • Take accountability in providing superior customer service by offering reliable products & services, pro-active maintenance (EOL s/w, h/w, certificates etc.), and quicker incident resolutions.

  • Set high standards for the team, guide the teams to continuously improve the productivity.

  • Familiarize with AWS cloud, prepare to migrate applications, services, and data to AWS.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in software development having breadth in web applications, enterprise integration, data & analytics.

  • Deep expertise building web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices is required.

  • Deep expertise with Angular/React, and Oracle/PostgreSQL technology stack is required.

  • Deep expertise in enterprise integrations through RESTful APIs, Kafka messaging etc is required.

  • Deep expertise in Elastic Search, NoSQL databases, and Caching solutions is required.

  • Expertise in designing and optimizing the software solutions for performance and stability is preferred.

  • Expertise in handling data related projects is preferred.

  • Expertise in troubleshooting and problem solving is preferred.

  • Expertise in site reliability engineering is preferred.

  • Expertise in Test driven development is preferred.

  • Expertise in Authentication, Authorization, and Security is preferred.

  • Familiarity with AWS cloud, prepare to migrate applications, services, and data to AWS is preferred

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$156,160.00 - $234,240.00
