The Head of Global Fraud Forecasting & Execution is a strategic role which closely follows latest internal and external fraud trends and adapts them for application within the Citi Commercial Cards and Spring by Citi businesses. This key leadership role reports directly to the Global Head of Fraud and Disputes for the Commercial Cards and Spring by Citi businesses and acts as the central contact point between the Commercial Cards and Spring by Citi Fraud and Disputes functions and all other parts of the Services, Markets, Banking, Wealth and Digital Fraud organisation. The role holder will lead the annual investment planning processes, financial forecasting and planning, headcount capacity planning/forecasting and planning, and all project related processes - as well as liaising with all other functions across SMBW&D Fraud to ensure consistent approaches, sharing of best practice and future strategy alignment. Excellent communication skills are required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Primarily affects a sub-function.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishes, owns and maintains the annual investment plan/process for Commercial Cards and Spring by Citi.
  • Interfaces with the Fraud Risk Sr. Managers, Business owners, Risk Policy heads and operations Chief Operations Officer (COOs) to understand business objectives and gain buy-in for business changes and investment.
  • Implements and owns headcount capacity planning methodology and reporting.
  • Owns financial forecasting, reporting and approval routines.
  • Acts as owner of all Technology and Vendor related relationships within the function - and executes all associated processes.
  • Main point of contact for all project related functions and activities with external parties and stakeholders.
  • Conduit for Commercial Cards and Spring by Citi Fraud/Disputes across SMBWD Fraud organisation.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years relevant proven experience in Issuing and/or Acquiring Card Fraud Management at a leadership level.
  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills through all levels of the organization and with external partners and vendors.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills; must be able to address and resolve conflict while maintaining relationships.
  • In depth knowledge of best practice Fraud Operational and Strategic processes and technology platforms.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex topics to a broad audience.
  • Detail oriented with analytical skills, as the role requires a large amount of data manipulation and presentation. Expert in Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Third Party Oversight/Vendor Oversight experience preferred.
  • Extensive experience of Financial and Capacity planning routines.
  • Detailed understanding and experience of Agile Project Management routines and processes.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
  • Certified Fraud Examiner preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$130,880.00 - $196,320.00
