Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Systems Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windows Server administration, SQL Server management, scripting, networking, and ServiceNow. Experience with DevOps concepts and Connect: Direct (NDM) is a significant plus. This role involves maintaining the stability, security, and performance of our server infrastructure, as well as contributing to automation and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, including security hardening, patch management, and performance tuning.
• Configure and manage file shares and permissions.
• Analyze server logs to identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Conduct performance analysis and implement optimizations.
• Manage SSL certificates, including installation, renewal, and revocation.
• Configure and maintain IIS web servers.
• Administer SQL Server databases, including security management, and performance monitoring.
• Develop and maintain scripts using Batch and PowerShell for automation and system administration tasks.
• Troubleshoot network issues related to load balancing and the TCP/IP stack.
• Manage incidents, changes, and releases within ServiceNow.
• Contribute to DevOps initiatives, including source code management with Git and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Manage and maintain Connect: Direct (NDM) file transfer processes.

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience with Windows Server administration, including Server Security, Share Configuration, Log Parsing, Performance Analysis, Certificate Management, and IIS Configuration.
• Strong understanding of SQL Server, including Security, Database Administration Concepts, and Architectural Concepts.
• Proficiency in scripting with Batch and PowerShell.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, including Load Balancing and the TCP/IP Stack.
• Experience with ServiceNow for Incident, Change, and Release Management.
• Familiarity with basic Git/SCM and CI/CD concepts.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Connect: Direct (NDM).
• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of relevant experience
• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
