SVP - Indonesia Treasury & Trade Solution Operations Head
Job Description
Indonesia Payments and Treasury & Trade Solution (TTS) Operation Head role is a senior management level position responsible to manage country operations for Payment business (Domestic/Cross-border Payments & Cheque/Cash) and oversee operations for other TTS Products. The primary purpose of this role is to provide leadership to Payment operations team in the country, ensure superior client experience, drive process transformation & productivity initiatives, maintain strong control framework, and work closely with country and regional/global stakeholders to deliver on key business priorities.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading and developing a senior team of direct staff that is best-in-class in their respective key roles. Succession planning and strong back-ups for all key/critical roles.
- Actively engaging and partnering with product and various stakeholders in the country and regionally/globally to provide strategic direction to the team and deliver on payment operation priorities.
- Understanding and planning for the short- and long-term needs of operations relating to human resources, client experience, processes, risk and controls.
- Lead and coordinate all operations teams including oversight of outsourced processes, with a focus on improved efficiency and quality.
- Work closely with all stakeholders for collaborative and successful execution of Business and Operations Imperatives, and to deliver operational solution for meeting client needs.
- Maintain strong control and compliance environment, with proactive risk control processes, that can adapt to changes in the regulatory and compliance environment. Ensure controls readiness and obtain satisfactory audit ratings and contribute to successful audits for businesses and functions that rely on TTS Operations as enabler.
- Proactively escalate issues on a timely basis and ensure it is addressed completely in a timely manner.
- Lead various project programs driven by local, regulatory, cluster, and global initiatives.
- Apply comprehensive understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues
- Negotiate internally, often at senior levels (across functions) and with external parties, as needed
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to define effective Crisis Management and ensure that the COB plan is timely maintained and tested.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
- Create a conducive working environment marked by high morale, team spirit, diversity, meritocracy, and low regrettable attrition, that can be measured through excellent VOE key indicators.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in a related role.
- Experience in operations management in banking industry, managing large teams
- Project management/execution and delivery experience
- Experience in delivering results and meeting financial plans
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred
