Apps Development Senior Group Manager - Director – Jersey City (Hybrid)
The Applications Development Senior Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team. The overall objective of this role is to drive applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities:
- Build AI assisted solution to automate fine grain lineage across systems front to back.
- Partner with Use case Owners/stakeholders from Finance, Risk, Services, Markets and Banking to manage the lineage and tracing solution.
- Partners with Data catalog and exception management to integrate the lineage and tracing solution.
- The candidate will have experience leading large projects, process improvement and change management.
- Lead and oversee the solutions and enhancement activities for automating controls for lineage and tracing.
- In depth knowledge of Services, Markets and Banking product is a must.
- Manage Release Management employees, set strategy, and provide direction, leadership, and budgetary management.
- Responsible for the development of product plans, tactics and coordinating across Services, Markets and Banking product lines.
- Research and resolve issues, provide recommendations, and escalate to senior management as needed
- Lead a collaboration space with the regional teams to bridge the gaps between our global target architecture and local requirements with an eye towards simplification and standardization
- Prepares and delivers comprehensive communications to convey architectural direction and how it aligns with enterprise strategy
- Manage regulatory agenda in line with broader organization goals and work with key Services, Markets and Banking stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery and prioritization of initiatives
Qualifications:
15+ years of experience in enterprise, application, and/or information architecture within a line of business or enterprise area Knowledge and expert level experience in system architecture, technical design, system and software development technology and architecture governance Strong understanding and experience with development and support of mission critical applications optimized to run in Enterprise Data Engineering and deliver highly scalable, reliable performance Deep functional and technical experience in Services, Markets and Banking Strong Product Delivery skills who can Identify opportunities & champion ongoing best-in class business transformation/ innovation. Ability to run Data Governance, DQ management, Data Lineage, Data Discovery and Access Solutions across multiple business groups and divisions Familiarity with Data Reconciliations & Control infrastructure.
Detail oriented and proven analytical skills. Must have practiced Agile/Scrum Experience with the following tools and technologies:
- Hadoop, Spark, Kafka
- UI
- Relational SQL and NoSQL databases
- Angular Expertise
- AI and ML expertise
- Experience with Java Expertise in Big Data querying tools e.g. Hive and Impala
- Experience with NLP/Machine learning.
- Experience with APIs
- Experience with Business Intelligence Tools
- Experience leading a development team and knowledge of working with high volume product
- Unified Modeling Language
- Collaboration Tools – Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience Master’s degree preferred.

$170,000.00 - $300,000.00
