The Assistant Vice President, Digital Wealth Portfolio is a seasoned professional role, being responsible for enhancing and optimizing digital wealth capabilities to drive client engagement and portfolio growth. This role involves leveraging data analytics, market insights and digital tools to develop strategies that deepen client investment portfolios and drive up digital wealth revenue and new investment asset. Key responsibilities include designing, planning and implementing business strategies / initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring seamless user experience across omnichannel. The contributor will monitor portfolio performance, identify opportunities for growth, and utilize fintech innovations to enhance offerings. Strong analytical and communication skills, investment acumen, and proficiency in digital platforms are essential, along with the ability to work independently and adapt to evolving market trends. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams.

In this role, you’re expected to:

  • To achieve business objectives according to the pre-determined goals including sales and revenue growth.
  • Forming business strategies by identifying the right target segments with the right message at the right time under the rapidly changing market conditions and technology advancement.
  • Designing, planning and implementing the business strategies and aligning with multiple external and internal cross-functional stakeholders.
  • To carry out corresponding portfolio actions as well as promotional offer to broaden the investment client base and digital wealth revenue. 
  • Support different sales teams with sales tools, campaign training and provide assistance to campaign enquiries. 
  • To enhance and implement client’s digital journey on our digital assets with remarkable customer experience and maximize the opportunity for product uptake, cross-selling, and cost savings. 
  • To stay close to the market and clients.  Support new product / digital capability launch and development / implementation of marketing programs.   
  • Collaborate with related functional parties to ensure the end-to-end digital sales processes are in compliance with internal and external regulatory policies through effective execution of control programs 
  • To administer daily sales, service and operations to ensure that the operation with high level of performance standard as well as compliance to established Bank's policy, guidelines and regulatory requirements
  • Provide business insights and suggestions for new digital capabilities development
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in investment product management and / or digital sales
  • With investment business acumen, self-motivation to identify opportunities for investment and growth and with strong drive to achieve business target
  • Good interpersonal skill to be a great team player and leadership skills to inspire and guide stakeholders towards common goals and collaborate with external and internal stakeholders
  • Strong  strategic and analytical thinking identify patterns and business opportunities and make data driven proposals and agility to pivot strategies in response to rapidly changing market conditions, technological advancement or regulatory shifts
  • Execution and Operational Excellence to have attention to details and agile project management
  • Be always one step ahead stay on the front foot, focus on productivity and execute with agility
  • Consumer-centric, be empathetic towards the customer with the ability to put yourself in their customer's shoes
