The Payments market is constantly evolving with new initiatives such as Open Banking, ISO20022 and payments innovations on mobile banking. This role will support new payments initiatives, compliance and industry mandates and contribute ideas on payments strategy including driving digital adoption and focus on payments related controls.

The role will support the management of all payment’s products for the APAC Wealth team, assist in driving client experience and digital channel development, conduct data analysis, derive actionable insights for management to make decision, prepare management meetings. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge in product management and banking regulatory policies, strong data analysis and communication skills.  This is a hybrid working role with a requirement to work at least 3 days a week from the One Bay East office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the day-to-day product management for core payment products, which includes product delivery, project management, client experience, and client communication
  • Assist in formulating and implementing product strategies through analyzing consumer behavior, competitive landscape, best practices, product economics and conducting market research
  • Regulatory initiative implementations
  • Support marketing campaigns, internal training and external communication to drive product commercialization
  • Derive actionable insights from business and campaign data, present these insights in an initiative-driven format for decision making
  • Support planning and managing initiatives throughout the entire project lifecycle working with cross-functional project teams within Citi and external partners
  • Assist in defining product requirements, creating user stories, defining acceptance criteria
  • Perform system testing, issue management and support monthly releases

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Basic knowledge in payments products including instant payment and digital payment channels
  • Keen interest in the Future of Payments technology and open banking infrastructure
  • Prior experience in Wealth Management or Private Banking preferred
  • Strong project management skill would advantageous

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships across functional lines
  • Strong multiple-tasking skills and be able to meet deadlines
  • Strong data analysis and presentation skill
  • Attention to detail
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory
