In this role, you’re expected to:

The Senior Vice President, Head of Content Commercialization will play a critical role in driving client engagement, generating leads, and ultimately driving commercial outcomes for Consumer Wealth business in Hong Kong. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing a content strategy that leverages existing content resources like CIO, Citi Research, etc. to maximize commercial outcomes. This involves working with various stakeholders to identifying the opportunities, defining priority and distributing it effectively across digital channels, personalizing the client experience, and ultimately driving measurable business results.

In this role, you’re expected to:

  • Content Strategy and Commercialization: Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy focused on driving commercial outcomes, including increased client engagement, lead generation, and ultimately, transactions and portfolio conversations.
  • Personalization and Client Experience: Develop and execute a data-driven personalization strategy to deliver targeted content recommendations and tailored experiences that resonate with individual clients.
  • Content Distribution: Oversee the distribution of content across all relevant digital channels (e.g., Citi Mobile App, website, email, social media) to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Lead Generation and Conversion: Implement strategies to capture leads from content engagement and nurture them through the sales funnel, leading to increased transactions and portfolio conversations.
  • Performance Measurement and Analysis: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to content engagement, lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue growth. Analyze data to identify trends, optimize content performance, and refine commercialization strategies.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with the CIO Office, third-party content providers, Investment Advisory, Marketing, Data, Product, Compliance, Legal and Technology teams to ensure seamless content flow and alignment with business objectives.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all content and communication activities comply with relevant Citi policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in wealth management, digital marketing, or content strategy, with a proven track record of driving commercial results.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and wealth management concepts.
  • Expertise in content marketing, digital channel management, lead generation, and sales conversion strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools, e.g., content management systems, analytics platforms, CRM systems, marketing automation tools.
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese (Mandarin is a plus).
