Vice President, Corporate Finance Analyst, Citi Commercial Bank

Citi’s Banking franchise is organized around three lines of business: Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and Commercial Banking. The unified Banking and International organization oversees the local delivery of the full firm to clients in each of the 95 markets where Citi has an on-the-ground presence.

Citi Commercial Bank (CCB) is a solutions-led business for the demands of mid-sized and emerging corporates

Responsibilities:

• Serves as the Corporate Finance Subject Matter Expert for HK Citi Commercial Bank (CCB) enhancing internal coordination with Investment Banking for advisory and capital market origination.
• Actively originate new episodic opportunities to assist clients in raising funds in the capital markets (i.e. debt and equity, IPO) as well as providing strategic financing advisory for acquisition finance and other types of financial solutions
• Support strategic discussions with client on Merge & Acquisition by leveraging on the client relationships with CCB bankers and expertise of Investment banking industry bankers
• Partner with HK CCB Coverage in Mid-Corp Industry teams and Emerging Corporate team to lead the origination, structuring and execution of episodic transactions
• Drive innovation on the solutions and facilitate internal approvals and processes.
• Provide content on industry and capital market trends for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Be responsible for the origination and progression of corporate finance pipelines for HK CCB

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6-10 years commercial banking experience
• Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree
• Proven track record of supporting the growth of client relationships
• Experience in corporate financing and investment banking will be an advantage
