What You Will Do:
This dynamic role offers a diverse range of responsibilities centred on driving growth and forging strong client relationships:
Represent Citi as a key ambassador for Citi's Clearing Sales business at external client events and meetings, showcasing our expertise and building valuable connections.
Strategic Execution through Collaboration with regional and global sales teams to deliver and execute the EMEA regional sales strategy, maximizing market penetration and revenue generation.
Proactively identify and pursue new client opportunities, pitching Citi's comprehensive Prime Services clearing capabilities and crafting tailored solutions.
Cultivate and manage relationships with senior clients, fostering trust and maximizing revenue and profitability through strategic engagement.
Expert Advisory: Provide expert guidance to clients on implementing optimal clearing strategies, leveraging your deep understanding of market dynamics and regulatory landscape.
Cross-Selling by identifying and capitalising on opportunities to cross-sell into Markets and Equities products (e.g., Cash, Prime Brokerage), expanding Citi's footprint within client portfolios.
Problem Solving & Escalation: Efficiently address client needs, escalating complex issues to senior management when necessary to ensure seamless service delivery.
What We Need From You:
Proven Sales Expertise; extensive experience (5+ years) in a client-facing sales or relationship management role within the financial services industry, with a proven track record of success in Futures/OTC product sales. Candidates without this specific experience will not be considered.
In-depth knowledge of Futures/OTC products and a strong understanding of multi-asset Prime Brokerage.
Solid technical understanding of Futures/OTC clearing systems and vendors.
Demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships, close mandates, and leverage internal teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Proactive and Results-Oriented: A self-starter with exceptional time management and prioritization skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
A degree in finance, mathematics, or a related field, demonstrating a strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
