Finance Services Automation platform (FINSAP) is a global application in Finance Market Control and Risk Technology built for providing business process automation services covering EUC remediation platforms, Process Automation, Data and Gen AI technologies.

Overview of the Role
The Head of Global ACS Platform Engineering manages multiple engineering teams covering FINSAP ACS Platform, Process Automation, Data and Gen AI technologies. In-depth understanding of how one's own sub-function contributes to achieving the objectives of the function. This role will be part of the FINSAP team and is a senior management level position as the Engineering Platform Senior Manager in FINSAP Automated Computing System and Process Automation area. This role is critical to focus on strong Engineering leadership in the team for defining and implementing a strategic vision to evolve the adopting emerging technologies, engineering excellence toolkits and best practices. Candidate for this position expected to have in-depth experience in enterprise application development in Low code technologies, API’s, Java server side, Data and Reporting areas.

Responsibilities: 

  • Take the lead on the design, implementation, and successful delivery of large-scale or significantly difficult software solutions that have a long-term impact on a product, technology or architecture.
  • Design approaches and the code you personally contribute is noteworthy in some way (e.g., a significant refactor that simplifies or improves architectural quality, enables us to maintain a competitive advantage, offers significant extensibility, performance, scalability, or has organization-wide operational excellence impact). Identify and tackle intrinsically hard problems. (e.g., highly complex, ambiguous, undefined, with less existing structure, or having significant business or security risk or potential for significant impact).
  • Deliver artifacts that set the standard within your organization for engineering excellence, from designs to algorithms to implementations. Your personal code submissions and reviews of other people’s code are instructive and make the overall code corpus better.
  • Lead and actively participate in design reviews, aligning teams across your organization towards coherent architectural strategies. You bring clarity to complexity, probe assumptions, illuminate pitfalls, and foster shared understanding.
  • Develop the strategy, plan and deliver solutions on an enterprise level coordinating with the larger finance business functions.
  • Deliver the Process Automation platforms to address the Consent Order/MRA regulatory commitments and streamline the process with effective technology controls and automated reporting.
  • Act as technology interface across multiple channels, to proactively drive initiatives and define direction for future process automation, Data transformation and GenAI projects.
  • Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across the firm to ensure alignment with the Technology strategic plan and strategic Architecture oversight.
  • Impact finance technology function through responsibility for technology strategy planning, toolkits adoption, setting policies and contribution to strategic decisions.
  • Contribute to defining and implementing engineering best practices and processes for the department and ensure transparency and consistency across teams
  • Provide leadership, direction and manages ACS platform & its various tech functions become a strong technology capabilities face in APAC/EMEA/NAM region and manage senior stakeholders across various functions – Finance Controllers, Finance Expense Management, Citi Venture Investments, FMCR Architecture, FMRC Tech, Operations, Security, Vendor Product Management, etc.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in Workflow Digital Automation, Low Code Technologies, API design and integration architecture, ideally with experience in within Finance business function.
  • Proven experience leading or mentoring engineering teams, with a strong ability to influence and set technical direction.
  • Exhibits sound understanding of theories and practices in architecture and multiple related areas. 
  • Analytical and solution-oriented, with a commitment to high-quality standards and continuous improvement.
  • Management and prioritization skills 
  • Ability to develop working relationships 
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines  
  • Self-starter with ability to take the initiative and master new tasks quickly  
  • Experience in the banking sector (preferred)
  • Extensive relevant engineering experience
  • Proven managerial experience in leading global engineering teams

Education:

  • Master/bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
