The Technology Product Management Senior Manager accomplishes results through their domain expertise and ability to work cross functionally to drive results. This role is key for compliance with the regulatory obligations placed on UK technology, managing across all of Technology in London and meeting regulatory objectives and requirements on a wide range of topics (including Operational Resilience, Third Parties, Model Risk, UK specific regulations). Coverage of the areas of responsibility for this role (which will be operational resilience, local in country incident escalation and reporting, third party and interaffliates) is vital as they are areas of intense regulatory scrutiny.

Responsibilities:

  • Owns one to two-year strategic plan and platform roadmap for key areas of regulator requirements, for example third parties or operational resilience and incident reporting within UK LEs - technology.

  • Leads research with the business to gain end-to-end real-world understanding of business needs

  • Contributes to organizational planning

  • Significant Exec level engagement at MD level and with senior country management.

  • Provides content for Exec level communications, prepares senior exec governance materials

  • Exhibits expertise across multiple domains and builds tight connections to resources to drive efficiencies.

  • Has advanced knowledge of Office tools and ability to communicate metrics and progress reports regularly to Sr. stakeholders

  • Works across peer and stakeholder organizations to implement improvements

  • Sets the direction for the areas of responsibility in UK Technology 

  • Prepares approach documentation, ensuring requirements and process are clear and easily consumable by other teams.

  • Creates and track performance indicators for their areas of responsibilities. Monitors success metrics and makes proposals for continuous performance improvements

  • For any issues, assesses the alternatives to resolve (recommends a path to green) and builds a plan for resolution

  • Owns and delivers reviews, gathers feedback, drives the associated actions, and incorporates feedback into future launch plans

  • Shares learnings and best practices with other Citi teams

  • Leverages data analysis skills to research difficult or ambiguous problems, leading cross-disciplinary work where necessary and communicating recommendations to senior leadership

  • Represents Citi with key stakeholders for escalations and during incident work

  • Drives adoption of existing platform products into multiple marketplaces (in some cases simultaneously) with minimal engagement from leadership

  • Identifies short- and medium-term risks, proposing solutions to address them

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in a technology, risk, resilience and/or strategic planning role.
    Significant experience building complex business and/or transactional models.
    Demonstrated experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and compellingly, effectively influencing across cross functional teams

Education:

  • University degree preferred
