In this role, you’re expected to:

This AVP role is part of the USPB Risk and Wealth Risk CAO organization, responsible for assessments and analyses related to our Risk Framework Compliance & Path-To-Strong function, to ensure progress towards strong risk management and meet all target state risk framework requirements according to Heightened Standards.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for assessing and analyzing risk framework components, including policies, procedures, processes, controls, infrastructure, data, reporting, programs, then partnering with 1st and 2nd lines of defense stakeholders to support development and implementation of enhancements to our risk framework. Enhancements can be in the form of transformation, issue remediation, and BAU.

Additionally, this role will support monitoring of progress and readiness for external exams and internal reviews owned by USPB Risk and Wealth Risk, and support the review and challenge of deliverables related to these exams and reviews .

Responsibilities:

  • Execute assessments and analyses related to USPB / Retail Risk and Wealth Risk Framework and Path-To-Strong program

  • On a prioritized basis, own and manage initiatives / projects to drive enhancements related to our risk framework

  • Audits / exams related analysis

  • Support senior stakeholders in execution of various BAU processes within the organization

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  • Overall 5+ years of experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Relevant experience in a combination of Risk Management Framework & Policy, Consulting, Analytics, Audit functions preferred

  • Good command in both written and spoken communications, including power-point presentations

  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  •  Attention to detail and ability to deliver quality work within tight deadlines

  •  Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively

  • Ability to work in a highly matrix environment, with a wide variety of stakeholders across different time zones
