Citi is looking for a Senior Delivery Manager, to project manage various Data Management initiatives for our Banking and International (B&I) franchise. This role will work within one or more teams across B&I Data and the subject matter experts from Front-Office/ Risk/Finance/Technology to lead all aspects of the projects.

Responsibilities:  

  • Manage a team or a functional area, while maintaining appropriate staffing requirements to meet operational needs.
  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control of Data Quality Measurement requirements, standards, and processes.
  • Lead cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business objectives through effective communication.  
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, document processes, and deliver data solutions around quality measurement, remediation that meet organizational goals.
  • Influence decision-making by presenting data-driven insights, project progress, and risk mitigation strategies to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Adopt data governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with internal policies, and external regulations.
  • Facilitate stakeholder buy-in for n projects, utilizing interpersonal skills to manage expectations and resolve conflicts.
  • Liaise with other leaders to understand data challenges and solutions, and drive data quality resolution enterprise wide.
  • Address potential barriers to timely execution before they impact the delivery, communicate potential risks, and plans to mitigate issues and concerns.
  • Report Data Quality issues through Citi’s corresponding Data/Issue management process.
  • Manages and executes strategic design and process improvement projects across the enterprise.

Qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience, Banking or Finance industry preferred.
  • Great understanding business analysis, project management and solution design.
  • Experience defining and implementing data quality programs.
  • Understand how Markets / Cash Management / Finance / Risk Management works in a banking environment.
  • Communicates effectively, develops, and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels.
  • Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectives.
  • Must know how to read/write business requirement and convert them into technical tasks.
  • Work independently and leverage SQL or Python to analyses large data set and gather insight.
  • Ability to gain confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills across a variety of stakeholders at different levels.
  • Optimizes work processes by balancing effective / efficient processes with a focus on continuous improvement. Demonstrates ability to balance between seeing the “big picture” while paying close attention to detail.
  • Organizational savvy: understands systems, management processes, knows where to go for information and how to interpret them.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to recognize & comprehend complex issues to identify and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and use a high level of independent judgment, while effectively partnering and communicating with a broader team.
  • Use of influence skills and matrix management skills to ensure solutions meet enterprise requirements.
  • Automation, controls & process efficiency mindset.
  • Adaptable, resourceful, and well-organized team player with a strong work ethic.

Education:

Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
