As a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Senior Analyst within the Technology Executive Decision Support team, you will play a critical role in delivering insightful analysis and strategic recommendations regarding the Citi's financial performance, specifically within the Technology and Data segment. This intermediate-level position requires a strong foundation in financial analysis principles and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvement and enhanced reporting. The primary objective is to leverage a deep understanding of financial data to generate actionable reports, develop innovative analytical techniques, and optimize workflows, ultimately contributing to informed decision-making by senior management.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support key decision-making processes across Technology and Data segment and within its individual businesses.
  • Monitor actual financial performance and trends against forecasts, outlooks, and plans
  • Enable informed decision making by stakeholders through highlighting variances and adding insights, providing insightful commentary on KPIs and underlying drivers.
  • Collaborate effectively within Technology FP&A team, building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment between financial objectives and business initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve efficiency, and enhance reporting accuracy.
  • Support senior management in reviewing financial performance and providing data-driven recommendations.
  • Execution and alignment of data in financial systems. Generate flash results/highlights for Executive Management reports.
  • Execute time-critical activities for client facing Financial Planning and Analysis teams.
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.  Working knowledge of financial systems like Ruby/FRM/Tableau/COGNOS.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.


Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience working with a variety of financial platforms
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated presentation skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
