Operations Readiness is a critical function in the Trade delivery model and caters to the requirement for supporting system changes for Trade Operations processes. 
The Operations Readiness Lead is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business.
This role requires awareness for Trade products and processes and related subject matter expertise. Good communication skills and presentation skills are required to manage Operations, Business, and Technology stake holders. Provide insight for operations process nuances to partners. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

This role requires passion to understand strategic priorities, system changes and new capabilities and tie them to operations processes. Lead a team of professionals tasked with creating training materials and providing trainings to operations teams. Own the readiness strategy execution. Ensure the team delivers on coordination, tracking, training, and drive system Sanity and Production Validation Testing.

The role requires providing visibility to senior management on the changes and corresponding commercialization and realization of RoI.

For the first year, this role will be aligned to Australia Time Zone, Malaysia Time Zone and US Time Zone.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of Trade Operations Readiness.
  • Continually assess and improve on team delivery.
  • Ensure team performance is monitored and actions taken if performance warrants.
  • Provides sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Directly affects the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services.
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. 
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. 
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Candidate should be a team player and help the team deliver on Production Validation Testing Coordination for all Trade products.
  • Participate with the team handling weekend Sanity Testing Coordination for Trade Products along with testing Sign off coordination. 
  • Delivers demos and Trainings for new functions and creation of training materials.
  • Provide training to Ops on existing functions on Trade product processors.
  • Expertise to be developed for Trade Products, Operations Processes including but not limited to CSF, ARDF, TRIMS, Imaging, OCR & e-Loan.
  • Ad hoc Ops projects coordination.
  • SME support to Ops for all Trade Products and systems.
  • Commercialization tracking and reporting.
  • Critical commercialization issues escalation and tracking.
  • Ensure team review test cases for PVT.
  • Escalation points for stakeholder enquiries.
  • ttend Project governance meeting.
  • Maintain the stakeholder management and communication plans.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 12-15 years of experience in Operations/Technology roles working within a Global team with comprehensive knowledge of TTS Trade Operations & Technology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Stake holder management/co-ordination and/or Project Implementation/Commercialization experience with Agile methodology.
  • Understanding of Trade processes and Systemic Process flows.

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Skills:

  • Organizational and co-ordination skills - Strong inter-personal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills - Effective Documentation & Presentation skills.
