Americas Wealth Markets Business Manager

The Americas Wealth Markets Business Manager is a critical role supporting the execution of business-defined initiatives for the Americas Wealth Markets business while ensuring ongoing adherence to internal and external compliance standards.  The Business Management Team’s core responsibilities are: (i) business initiative coordination and execution – including technology book-of-work (BOW) management (ii) corrective action plan (CAP) drafting and closure processing, audit support and regulatory implementations (iii) client trading setups (iv) financials reporting and (v) 3rd party vendor management.  The Business Manager will also support producing materials for the Wealth Markets monthly Business Management meeting forums. 

This role requires interaction with Banking Coverage Teams, Finance, Operations, Technology, Middle Office, Legal, Investment Finance, Credit Solutions and Compliance both in the Americas region, but will also have exposure to EMEA and APAC.

This position will be based at 388 Greenwich Street location and reports directly into the Americas Capital Markets Business Management Lead


Responsibilities:

Initiative Management:

  • Strategize with business to define core business initiatives for Wealth Markets.
  • Coordinate and prioritize defined business initiatives with business leads in monthly business management forums.
  • Technology BOW – execution of funded Markets Technology projects and ongoing management of the technology BOW.

CAPs/Audit/Reg Implementation:

  • Owning CAP management end-to-end including the management of opening and closure materials.
  • Regulatory implementations impacting the full scope of the business.
  • Supporting all Audit, ICRM, Regulator and IFRM testing requirements.

Financials

  • Manage monthly forecasting, budget management and revenue reconciliations.

Markets Client Trading Setups

  • Support current transition of Client Trading Setup ownership project (ISDA Contract Management) from Business Management org.
  • Ongoing platform and trade lifecycle SME support to business.

3rd Party Vendor Management.

  • Serve as BAO for Markets trading systems to support the business.
  • Support contract management with external vendors.
  • Run governance meetings with 3rd party vendors to ensure ongoing productive engagements.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years experience
  • must be extremely organized, motivated and a self-starter
  • Ability to prioritise is key as is ability to juggle several tasks at once.
  • Must work well under pressure whilst, enthusiastic, hard-working and positive
  • Desire to improve processes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions
  • Ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts / requirements and related product / functional knowledge
  • Team player and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
  • Ability to learn/understand some technical implications of system design
  • Willingness to ask questions, challenge the process and seek out answers
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$142,320.00 - $213,480.00
