Duties: Growth and development of Korean client portfolio in the Global Subsidiaries Group. Provide a balanced risk / reward framework while driving business growth. Enhancing the quality of client relationships by providing strategic content and advice, reaching trusted advisor status.  Setting clear strategic priorities to build competitive strengths. Fostering and leveraging relationships inside and outside the organization, with all stakeholders that could impact the GSG organization, building networks that go beyond strictly business related issues. Driving client engagement and expanding portfolio of accounts with varying and complex financial needs to increase revenue growth and good credit quality. Determine financing solutions to meet client’s funding need based on the size, credit profile, and tenor of financing. Provide clients with strategic advisory services in coordination with the product partners. Advising on banking solution for foreign currency exposure, working capital, efficiency of collection and payment and CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) plan. Leveraging understanding on unique strategy of Korean corporate treasury management style. Cross selling banking products, including cash management, trade finance, trade services, structured trade products, foreign exchange, commodities, fixed income, syndicated and bilateral loans, and capital market products. Analyzing client’s FX position based on business mixture, including export, domestic sale, and currency exposure. Managing credit risk by identifying and assessing relevant risks, and conducting periodic reviews on appropriateness of credit limit allocated to the client. Assessing financial stability and management efficiency of corporate clients through credit analysis. Coordinating with Trade and Treasury Solution team to generate the fit-in cash management solution. Ensuring client relationships and proposed financial solutions adhere to internal risk and return standards, taking into account anticipated future changes in the marketplace. Maximizing deal origination and replication around network solutions. Acting as link between the coverage and product organizations to provide a holistic service to our multinational clients. Collaborating with the product partners the future vision, trend and direction of each product within the coverage space, fostering innovation in products and solutions, and communicate to ensure alignment within the team. Maximizing returns from asset products (regardless of industry) and ensuring coordination with Banking and product partners for appropriate tradeoffs where required. Ensuring full compliance with internal and regulatory policies on Risk, Control, Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti Money Laundering (AML). Foster the highest standards of ethics, control and risk management. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in business administration or related field of study and at least 10 years of experience as a Senior Relationship Manager, Relationship Manager, Manager Associate or Team Lead FP&A position involving providing financial solutions to Korean clients for a banking or global financial services organization. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in the stated fields and 12 years of the specified progressive post-baccalaureate experience as listed above. Must have at least 5 years of experience with: Originating, structuring and executing transactions and financings with global corporate clients, capital markets products, derivatives, credit, cash management, trade, finance and securities products to Korean clients; Recruiting and managing diverse teams with commitment to talent development; Managing and working across a diverse and multi-country matrix structure; Credit/risk analysis to assess financial stability and management efficiency; Analyze corporate financials and projections to appraise the credit limit ask; Loan syndication; Treasury management, Working capital management, Liquidity management, Credit risk management; Corporate Banking products and solutions and accounting, legal and compliance principles and procedures (Project financing, Asset backed financing, private placement, trade financing); and Cash Management, Trade, Markets, FX, Derivatives, Loan products and Capital Markets products.
