Citigroup Global Markets, Inc. seeks a Banker for its New York, NY location.

Duties: Interface with clients and advise on mergers, acquisitions, and capital raisings. Responsible for deliverables and creating timetables for critical workstreams on live transactions and client pitch work. Guide associates and analysts in developing complex financial models to value debt and equity for mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions. Generate new transaction ideas and strategic topics to discuss with clients. Responsible for preparation of materials and financial analysis presented to clients including investment memoranda, management presentations, pitchbooks, and valuation analyses. Review and assess detailed financial statements and related reports to prepare financial documentation related to a range of complex investment banking transactions. Evaluate research reports from different sources and combine results with client management views to recommend an effective strategy and business plan. Perform due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of live transactions. Operate as the main point of contact during transaction execution for client, co-advisors, and internal working teams. Develop relationships with clients, advisors, and counterparties for effective flow of transaction processes and to generate recurring future deal flow as well as assist in sourcing new clients. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Business Management, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or a related finance occupation providing investment banking services for Industrials Basic Materials clients within the finance industry. Six (6) years of experience must include: Handling projects and workstreams with all transaction parties to prepare deal documents and legal disclosures, respond to investor inquiries, ensure data accuracy, and timely deal closure; Guiding clients in the Industrials Basic Materials sector through strategic transactions with a clear understanding of M&A and IPO/Equity offering processes including negotiation, due diligence and drafting, marketing materials preparation, financial model production, and transaction document review; Preparing complex financial analyses including Discounted Cash Flow analysis, Leveraged Buyout analysis, comparables analysis, accretion / dilution analysis, and Weighted Average Cost of Capital; Preparing and presenting strategic analyses to clients in the Industrials Basic Materials sector relating to live deals and pitchbook marketing materials; and Working on multiple projects simultaneously throughout various phases of project and transaction execution and new business development. 40 hrs./wk.
