The Business Associate is an intermediate level position responsible for the overall administrative activities of a business. These tasks may include contribution to external audits, business continuity activities or addressing regulatory issues. The Business Associate may assist in activities such as the tracking of business financials, managing employee headcount or coordination of other administrative needs. May work on ad hoc projects as requested.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Banking Management to understand spending patterns and implement best practices
  • Maintain documentation and update procedure flows for expense categories
  • Monitor compliance with expense policies and identify potential areas of risk
  • Act as Business Activity Owner for NAM IB/CB  Organizations and work closely with senior  Bankers, Business Execution Leads, Charitable Governance and Third Party Management
  • Work closely Banking Management to determine, review and manage charitable asks by North America Sector Heads ensuring  costs are within budget and projections are met. Assist in identifying opportunities to lower budgetary spending and gaps to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Assist with creation of weekly expense review  of Charitable and Sponsorship requests for Global Banking Business Execution Lead and participate in meeting
  • Examine budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations
  • Review data for accuracy and  manage analytics and reporting in coordination with team in Mumbai
  • Complete compliance related activities and reporting
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency


Qualifications:

  • 5 + years of relevant experience
  • Must be highly organized and resourceful with a strong ability to analyze problems
  • Advanced Excel expertise including demonstrated capabilities with pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, formulas and databases
  • P2P and Concur a plus
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills are required given the high level of interaction with Senior colleagues across the Firm (including the Corporate Office) and outside the Firm (Client Offices); Must be able to communicate clearly, concisely and confidently.
  • Highly motivated individual who succeeds working independently as well as in a cross-functional team


Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$109,120.00 - $163,680.00
