The Enterprise Data Office (EDO) organization drives and enforces data quality across Citi. 
The EDO will define and enforce data-related policies and standards across Citi and equip the firm with the tools required to take ownership and accountability for data governance and management. 
This is achieved through setting the Citi Data Governance Policy (CDGP), defining Citi Data Governance Standards and providing a governance framework for data ownership and data quality throughout Citi. The EDO is the sponsor for the overall data quality program at Citi and associated Board reporting.

Enterprise Data Risk Data & Technology Transformation was formed with one purpose in mind To Build Risk Data & Technology solutions to deliver on our regulatory commitments. But our mission extends beyond solving our regulatory commitments.  We want to Transform data, process, and technology to achieve a generational shift in Risk Management practices. By doing so we operationalize the Enterprise Risk Management Framework through technology solutions

As part of the recently created Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Data Governance Transformation Team, the Risk Transformation SVP will drive forward the successful execution of Risk Data & Transformation work in accordance with regulatory and the firm’s expectations.  This position will focus on leading several projects related to Enterprise Data & Technology in alignment with Risk and Control Consent Order Commitments. The lead will also be responsible for end-to-end strategic planning, project managing, stakeholder engagement, budget planning, CEAM/DCP and communication/presentations to multiple senior forums. The candidate will drive implementation and adoption of consistent data management standards and capabilities to support the Enterprise Risk Management Framework across the enterprise and relevant businesses / functions / regions; Establish Cross Program Governance Working Groups and Forums to provide oversight, strategic direction, management and monitoring of the ERM Pillar Concerns, ERM Transformation Project Progress.

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate must be able to work effectively in a cross-functional environment without close supervision and with colleagues who may not be in the same geographic location. The role requires strong analytical, interpersonal and leadership skills that rely on influence and building effective partnerships to execute our business plans and controls in a systematic, measurable, and effective way.
  • Drive progress, and provide guidance for adherence and continued development of enterprise-wide guiding policies, practices and standards
  • Liaise with metrics team to articulate clear requirements for objective measures necessary to support Data Governance storylines with key stakeholders
  • Lead end-to-end CEAM, Demand Capacity Planning and budget planning and execution across MRE /ERM delivery
  • Responsible for end-to-end coverage of Consent Order commitments including tracking overall closure, responding to program requests, and review and challenge of materials prepared for various stakeholder groups. Ensure quality, efficiency, and accuracy throughout the reporting and program management process.
  • Lead discussions with various stakeholders to resolve challenges with a synergized and consistent application across the managed regulatory commitments. Develop supporting business material to enable effective outcomes.
  • Serve as advisor to business partners by providing strategic direction on sustainability planning and/or matters requiring attention from the Transformation Program/Internal Audit/partner/stakeholder teams.
  • Ensure that data is summarized and communicated in a clear and concise manner that tells the right story about complex and critical information to senior management, review and challenge teams, partner/stakeholder teams, and regulators.
  • Provide oversight around monthly reporting processes to provide senior management with insight into Consent Order progress and promote effective decision making across the team.
  • Serve as lead across CO Risk Reduction Metrics including management of change requests, reporting, and control processes. 
  • Represent ERM Data & Tech at senior governance meetings and provide relevant program updates.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies, and develop solutions to escalate and mitigate them.
  • Operate independently and exercise judgement with escalation to senior management, as and when, required. 
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Foster and maintain strong relations with the various governance teams (TLQC/ IQA (BFQC)/PMO) to achieve target-state outcomes. 

Job Skills/Qualifications:

  • A senior delivery manager with 8-10 years of relevant experience in the financial service industry
  • Extensive Risk Management experiences
  • Extensive Project Management or Product Ownership experience
  • Must be extremely organized, motivated and a self-starter
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions
  • Team player and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
  • Willingness to ask questions, challenge the process and seek out answers
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$163,600.00 - $245,400.00
