Citi Foundation Program Associate
Program Associate is a seasoned professional who will work across the Citi Foundation team to support the planning and implementation of flagship initiatives and grant-making efforts. The Program Associate will also provide team-level project and administrative support. Through this dynamic role, the Program Associate will gain broad insights into all aspects of the Citi Foundation’s grant-making strategy while helping to drive organizational priorities. The ideal candidate will be able to prioritize and manage a range of operational, programmatic, and administrative projects. This role reports into the Director of Programs, Citi Foundation. The Citi Foundation works to promote economic progress and improve the lives of people in low-income communities around the world.
Responsibilities:
• Provide project management, operational and reporting support for flagship initiatives, such as, the Foundation’s Global Innovation Challenge, Community Finance Innovation Fund and Community Progress Makers initiative.
• Support the review of grant applications and progress/final reports – including analyzing financial statements and operating budgets
• Conduct desk research and produce peer analyses, including monitoring and producing briefs on trends in the philanthropic sector
• Support data collection and analysis, including producing Excel data monitoring tools and impact measurement tools
• Contribute to the creation and review of presentations, talking points, fact sheets and other written resources
• Coordinate team meetings including logistics, agenda content and tracking of follow-up items
• Support process improvements, document existing processes, and help team resolve operational issues
• Work with local and global team members to implement the best practices and standards across Foundation operations.
• Support compliance and regulatory requirements as appropriate.
• Assist with the planning and execution of internal and external events
• Provide additional support on special projects as necessary
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in corporate philanthropy and/or a social impact function
• Subject matter knowledge and experience in the areas of economic opportunity, community finance, and/or financial health
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative team and contribute positively to a high-energy, high-performing team environment
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills; extremely detail-oriented
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills with an ability to juggle competing demands
• Outstanding project management and organizational skills
• Self-starter with the capacity to work independently
• Comfort with taking on new assignments and learning new things; creative mindset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both verbal and written
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and, more specifically, a passion for PowerPoint and the ability to produce data analysis in Excel
Education:
• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$98,960.00 - $148,440.00
