Job Description:

Execution Advisory Services (EAS) is responsible for conducting execution research, TCA, and proactive algo consultancy to help support and drive growth across our Equities Franchise.  The team sits within our NAM Electronic Execution business, working closely with Electronic Sales, Coverage, Product and Quant/Tech groups.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-depth transaction cost analysis of client and internal trading flows to support the growth of our Electronic Trading business
  • Analyze large data sets of market data, orders, and client executions, and create statistical models to evaluate performance and provide proactive insights.
  • Customize Algo (Algorithmic) behavior to fit client objectives, understanding client’s trading objectives and analyzing client executions to general customization ideas.
  • Implement and test customization in production, evaluating performance changes and measuring the effectiveness of customization.
  • Undertake custom bespoke analysis projects for internal and external clients, create technical reports and white papers with findings.
  • Explore, back test, set up experiments and apply various statistical/predictive models, market microstructure and trading domain knowledge for execution optimization.
  • Attend client meetings, market technical product advantages, and discuss future improvements of the platform.
  • Develop client relationships and drive engagement, and create presentations, graphics, and reports for client consumption.
  • Conduct research on market microstructure and market impact modeling and discuss findings to develop client proposals and strategic plans.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of institutional markets experience, including electronic sell-side sales experience at a bulge-bracket organization
  • Deep understanding of electronic trading products
  • Deep understanding of US equity market structure
  • Experience with at least one query-based language, e.g. KDB/Q
  • Proficiency in at least one language used for data analytics, e.g. Python, R
  • Working knowledge of analytical tools like Tableau
  • Proven interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Broad client relationships preferred
  • Must have or be able to obtain required licenses including Series 7, 63, 57
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$200,000.00 - $300,000.00
