Global Head of Bilateral Receivables Financing + NAM Receivables Finance Lead - Director
Trade is a part of Treasury and Trade Services (TTS). This is the dual role comprising of Global Head of GARP (bilateral financing, growing at double digits annually) and Cluster Receivables Head for North America.
We’re seeking a senior strategic product manager who will have responsibility covering the entire P&L across 75+ countries, product launch & strategies, managing commercialization, regulatory approvals wherein required, compliance with all internal credit requirements, Risk, AML etc. GARP is one the main sub products within the receivables family and comprises of 50% of the overall receivables book.
This role reports to the Global Head of Trade Receivables Finance.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for overall P&L of the one of the receivables finance products globally
Be a subject matter expert in receivable finance and aware of related regulatory and accounting policies.
Have strong background / experience in managing similar portfolio related to receivable finance
Manage and monitor the overall performance of Receivables Finance Product globally, including client experience, pricing, risk and distribution.
Implement performance improvement strategies, with a specific focus on cross-sell and integration, including the development of competitive analyses, market analyses, product development road maps, market plans, pricing strategies and product line extensions.
Assists sales and relationship managers in building skills needed to identify client needs and proposes solutions in line with business objectives.
Partner closely with banking and sales teams to identify client and new businesses opportunities.
Extensive partnership with TTS Risk to ensure product standards and policies are updated on regular basis, besides modification of existing frameworks to be aligned with the industry standards.
Participate in and prepare materials for the Product Approval Program and related processes, ensure products are delivered and adhere to all parameters globally. Owner of the product standards, policies and documentation.
Ensuring there are no product gaps internally and aim towards 100% straight through processing by having active co-ordination with O&T teams
Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, legal, implementations, and sales to deliver solutions for Citi clients.
Manage product risk and control, documentation, credit, legal and regulatory risk, and manage transactional P&L through business drivers, and profitability ratios.
Participate in/facilitate product discussions with partners in asset distribution, legal, credit risk, operations and systems capabilities to ensure seamless delivery of program expansions.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Partner and assist regional product managers on the day-to-day business, product discussions and specific region needs.
Responsible for Audits of the product and ensuring its satisfactory closures
Work as a team player in close coordination with his regional / cluster peers
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
10+ years of related experience
Strong background of Trade Receivable Finance business
Proven track record of successfully managing a large and complex business
Intellectual curiosity, analytical and conceptual thinker
Proactively seeks and develops new opportunities
Thorough financial acumen and P&L management experience
Excellent analytical, interpretive and problem-solving skills
Proven track record of bringing diverse groups and perspectives to work against a common goal
Ability to maintain momentum and minimize client and employee attrition
Ability to establish and maintain senior client relationships and to work across multiple facets of Citi businesses
Process Management knowledge with a propensity for detail and comprehensiveness of content
Ability to collaborate and clearly communicate with senior members of an organization
Project Management skills with experience leading large cross functional initiatives
Proven track record as change agent, with ability to encourage and embrace innovative ideas and solutions
High emphasis on “getting to yes” and building intercompany relationships
Self-aware with ability to adapt to various situations, rapidly assimilate and report on complex information while creating a future vision

$170,000.00 - $300,000.00
