The Intelligence Sr Lead Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for driving efforts to prevent, monitor and respond to information/data breaches and cyber-attacks. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the execution of Information Security directives and activities in alignment with Citi's data security policy.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the daily coordination of Cyber Security Fusion Center (CSFC) analytical teams and contribute to threat Intelligence collection plans

  • Coordinate daily with CSFC staff members and engage with cyber threat industry associations, peer financial institutions, and information sharing communities

  • Provides cyber threat analysis to support Intelligence Product development and research, analyze cyber threat data, correlate with existing understanding of cyber threats impacting the Citi franchise, identify, escalate, and fill intelligence gaps

  • Conduct intrusion analysis, including identifying threat actors responsible for attacks, ascertains impact of an attack and developing countermeasures and mitigation techniques that can prevent future attacks

  • Oversee the technical strategy for an area, and ensure the technical integrity of processes, operations, and associated results

  • Resolve fundamental staff management issues, including resource management and work allocation within teams/projects

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience

  • In-depth knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Advanced Persistent Threat, Third Party Risks/Threats, Cybercrime, Extremist Groups and Cyber Terrorists, Hacktivism, Distributed Denial of Service attacks, Fraud, Malware, Mobile Threats

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

  • Proficient in interpreting and applying policies, standards and procedures

  • Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

  • Master’s degree preferred

The Citi Security and Investigative Services (CSIS) Intelligence Senior LeadAnalyst is responsible forcoordinating, drafting, refining, and executing tactical and strategic geopolitical intelligence analysis and production in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The individual will serve as a subject matter expert and lead engagement with internal and external stakeholders. The position manages the day-to-day operations of the Intelligence Stakeholder Engagement and Strategic Planning program.

The analyst will conduct strategic and operational analysis of geopolitical threats and risks faced by Citi and its businesses globally, including global and regional conflicts, political and social unrest, organized crime, terrorism, non-state actors, rule of law, and economic stability. The analysis will be based on internal and external data/reporting and further developed in collaboration with CSISintelligence managers, other strategic intelligence analysts, and a variety of CSIS and Citi units. The analyst will act as a project manager for key strategic projects and partner across the team to drive related products, collection management, and analysis. The position requires the ability to turn difficult and evolving threat activities into business questions and structured analytical solutions, which drives change, mitigation strategies, impacts risk management processes and informs senior decision makers. Additionally, the individual will serve as a lead within the intelligence team, editing analytic work, tasking intelligence products, and managing resource allocation. The individual will drive and implementstrategy related to global stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Function as an intelligence analyst on geopoliticalthreat streams and deliver all-source intelligence products and analytical assessments. 

  • Task and review intelligence analysis products by other intelligence analysts.

  • Produce briefings/presentations and present information to clients, internal stakeholders, or leadership.

  • Meet deadlines and maintain consistency with updating schedules for various products and services; proactively seek out new information to include in products.

  • Build and maintain partnerships across Citi and with peer intelligence organizations.

  • Review threats that create risk to the company, its employees, shareholders, assets and clients.  

  • Identify the problems and product/solution needs of our internal stakeholders. 

  • Be familiar with conducting forecasting and ‘over the horizon’ threat analysis.

  • Train and mentor others, including ongoing professional development.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Prior experience working as part of a globally and/or regionally dispersed team. 

  • Analytic and editing experience related to intelligence analysis (private or government), geopolitical risk, cyber threat intelligence analysis, or relevant experience in large and complex environments. 

  • Experience allocating work across a dispersed team of analysts with various experience.  

  • Expertise in Windows and Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel, Outlook, & PowerPoint – and demonstrated creativity in use of these products to solve analytical problems.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively through all levels of the organization.

  • Self-motivated and independent operator with the ability and maturity to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions and operate in fast paced and dynamic settings.

  • Able to work an occasional flexible schedule as crisis response requires.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
