Investment Finance (IF) Portfolio Lead
Citibank, N.A. seeks an Investment Finance (IF) Portfolio Lead for its New York, New York location.
Duties: Develop and enhance credit risk analytical framework to support portfolio management activities related to firm’s Global Wealth’s credit portfolio. Ensure accurate loan booking and loan management. Implement portfolio-level analytics by developing and monitoring metrics. Support business-level portfolio stress-testing by providing inputs into stress test scenarios and models. Implement early warning indicators by developing and monitoring indicators. Build out portfolio risk identification metrics to ensure consistency in how firm identifies risks. Identify credit trends and emerging risks to calibrate risk appetite. Translate risk appetite calibration into portfolio and product limits to enable firm to monitor risk against risk appetite. Implement deep-dive portfolio reviews for wholesale credit risk portfolio including each product programs, including commercial real estate, structured lending, aircraft, art and law firm finance. Ensure accuracy and consistency of loan documentation and ongoing loan management in set-up of client information and approved facilities on firm’s Global Wealth platform. Oversee dissemination of credit monitoring reports generated by Operations (Credit Approval (“CA”) Annual Reviews, CA Extensions, Facility Maturities, Covenants, Line Excesses, Documentation Deficiencies, insurance renewals, and Past Due Obligations). Identify red flags or noncompliance and escalate for resolution. Track monthly reports in support of business including, but not limited to, timely completion of annual reviews, facility covenant compliance, and others as required in support of portfolio management. Support monitoring activities of Investment Finance (IF) business practices, including credit administration and portfolio management practices and procedures. Perform pipeline management, assisting with audit and Fundamental Credit Risk deliverables. Provide portfolio management information for portfolio reviews and ad hoc reporting. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Business Administration or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Financial Analyst or related position involving portfolio management and credit risk management for the financial services industry. 5 years of experience must include: Credit risk analysis; Portfolio management; Financial analysis; Portfolio-level analytics; Business-level portfolio stress-testing; Development and monitoring of wholesale credit risk portfolio early warning indicators for risk management; Portfolio risk identification and management; Translation of risk appetite into portfolio and product limits across wholesale credit risk portfolio; Analytic tools including Alteryx and Tableau; Loan booking and management; Data management; Loan product knowledge.
