To that end, and as a leader within the Digital Commerce Sales team, you will partner with our enterprise/large corporate clients to understand their complex needs, design solutions that deliver on their key objectives, and become a trusted advisor for Citi’s globally diverse institutional client base. You will collaborate across the global organization to drive client consultations, win deals, bring solutions to life, and shape product strategy. With Citi’s unprecedented access to institutional clients, the sales team is expanding its reach into eCommerce and payment teams, and progressing discussions with key buying centers. It is the role of the Sales SVP to enable sales origination, drive deal strategy, and close large wins for Citi’s Digital Commerce franchise. Partnering with Corporate Banking and other coverage teams around the world, the measurement of success will be driven by net new business, calling intensity, and incremental yield from win mandates.

Job Description
In this role you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading complex Digital Commerce deals end-to-end including RFP responses and client pitches
- Supporting digital marketplace and consumer-to-business solution initiatives, through our collections proposition centered around Spring by Citi, as well as our leading global domestic and cross border payout capabilities.
- Positioning of future innovative solutions such as Banking-as-a-Service and Open Banking
- Proactively sharing feedback and keeping apprised of all new developments within the market and the competitive environment, thus influencing Citi’s development roadmap and new product agenda.
- Reviewing account plans to identify sales opportunities and support origination for Digital Commerce flows and use cases.
- Executing upon target list of eCommerce names for the year, converting pipeline into actual sales revenue.
- Meeting all Sales Management goals tied to pipeline management (CRM), Deal Review and Implementation Project Kick-Offs.
- Working with our Implementations organization and Client Success Managers to ensure all deals closed are handed over from Sales efficiently, prioritizing a seamless client experience.
- Attending regular team and sales management meetings to report on performance and raise personal and team profile.
- Attending industry conferences representing the bank, meeting clients, gaining market insight.Seeking speaking roles where possible.

Job Qualifications
Knowledge Experience
- At least 7 years work experience in the payments/cash management/merchant acquiring industry, ideally with a strong understanding of consumer payments, payment gateway technology, APIs, card acquiring, eWallets, and the surrounding ecosystems
- Experience in being a Sales Lead and driving sales activity – a consistent “top performer”
- Excellent interpersonal skills in driving thought leadership with senior clients and collaborating internally.
- Ability to operate to strict deadlines/timeframes
- Strong presentation skills, with ability to design innovative and tailored solutions working across financial and commercial buying centers
- Appreciation of payments risk dynamics and the value of compliance risk management
- Proven track record of operating independently and taking initiative with internal and external audiences.
- Openness to change.
