Duties: Lead discussions with clients in Caribbean and Central America (“CCA”) regions in raising funds in the capital markets and provide strategic advisory services. Analyze financial or operational performance of companies facing financial difficulties to identify or recommend solutions and prepare plans of action for investment. Employ financial models to develop solutions to financial problems or to assess financial or capital impact of transactions. Confer with clients to restructure debt, refinance debt, or raise new debt. Evaluate capital needs of clients and assess market conditions to inform structuring of transactions. Create, book and use financial systems, including Finance Workstation, TPS Workstation, DPAddins, EQRMS, Bloomberg and Citi Velocity to capture risk positions, measure revenue generation, and facilitate accurate record keeping. Leverage Dept Capital Markets and Private Loans Market knowledge to diversify sources of funding for clients. Manage global markets relationship among Corporates, Governments, Central Banks, Commercial Banks, Pension funds, Insurance companies and Mutual Funds. Provided Interest Rate, Credit, Foreign Exchange and Commodity solutions to corporates, public sector and financial institutions across financing, investing and hedging in CCA region. Manage existing Markets transaction portfolios. Prepare and analyze derivative pricing models. Build and maintain relationship with institutional clients: Corporates, Public Sector, Central Banks, Commercial Banks, Pension funds, Insurance companies and Mutual Funds to understand their market needs in derivatives. Execute trades on behalf of clients ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulations. Manage documentation related to transactions, including trade confirmations, legal agreements, and compliance records. Expand institutional sales in Latin-American (LATAM) markets, including Caribbean and Central America. Develop coordinated sales strategy to grow market and wallet shares, with focus on local franchise opportunities in foreign exchange, fixed income and client solutions. Refine and implement sales and marketing strategies to strengthen bank’s market presence and maximize associated revenues. Work with management and cross-functional teams to establish a marketing plan with defined priorities, market penetration strategy, and revenue goals. Ensure bank’s products remain in lead position and competent against both local and international banks in market, and in line with the organizational objectives. Oversee strategic positioning, closing of transactions, and origination and distribution of debt capital market transactions to Corporates, Public Sector financial institution clients. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Management, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Salesperson, Management Associate or related position involving institutional investor sales in the Caribbean and Central America regions. 6 years of experience must include: Investment and financial analysis; Basel regulations; Finance Workstation, TPS or E-Dealer Workstation, DPAddins, EQRMS, and Bloomberg; Derivative pricing and methodologies; Corporate finance and capital markets knowledge; Caribbean and Central American financial regulations; and Relationship management.
