The Enterprise Services and Public Affairs (ESPA) team’s mission is to enhance how our internal and external stakeholders — including colleagues — perceive and experience Citi by protecting the reputation of the firm, its businesses and the brand. The Global Communications team is an agile, high-impact group that nimbly covers a broad scope of responsibilities ranging from executive communications to corporate culture and reputation.

Our team thrives in a fast-moving, intellectually curious and solution-oriented environment. If you bring a client-oriented mindset, excellent judgment, a passion to learn and a great sense of humor, you’ll fit right in.

About the role

We’re looking for a sharp, strategic and high-stamina communicator to join Citi’s executive communications team. This role is focused on writing for our CEO, Jane Fraser. You’ll help articulate her voice, vision and strategy across speeches, blogs, op-eds, talking points and more—supporting her as she leads Citi through a historic transformation.

This is a fast-paced, intellectually rigorous role that requires exceptional writing skills, sound judgment, and a clear understanding of global business, financial services, and the broader macro environment. You’ll need to synthesize complexity, connect the dots across the firm, and help build credibility with audiences both inside and outside Citi.

The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in executive communications or political speechwriting and will thrive in a newsroom-style environment where quality and pace go hand in hand.

This is an exciting moment for Citi—and for this role—as we reshape the company and redefine how we engage with our clients, our employees and the world.
