Data Governance Foundation Sr Analyst - C12 - OFALLON
Summary
The Data Governance Foundation Sr Analyst will play a key role in supporting the End User Computing (EUC) governance, program management, and remediation efforts within US Personal Banking. This individual will contribute to the identification, assessment, and management of EUCs, ensuring adherence to the Citi End User Computing Policy (CEUCP) and Citi’s Data Governance Policy (CDGP). A core focus of this role will be to develop a comprehensive understanding of all facets of the EUC business, enabling cross-training and support across Governance, Program Management, and Remediation activities.
Main Responsibilities
Functional:
- Support the execution of strategic business programs and projects related to EUC management, partnering with CAO, Process Owners, Data Owners, and Data Steward teams.
- Assist in the identification, registration, and remediation of EUCs in collaboration with Enterprise Governance, Technology, Data Owners, and Process Owners.
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and socialization of EUC processes, ensuring consistent application of identification, registration, and remediation activities as defined in the CEUCP.
- Work with EUC owners to understand functionality, assess risk levels, identify patterns and complexities, and contribute to the development and execution of EUC management and retirement plans.
- Support the execution of strategic plans to improve data quality through the reduction and elimination of EUCs.
- Adhere to Citi's risk management framework, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies, and escalating control issues appropriately.
- Develop a working knowledge of CDGP, CEUCP, and other relevant data-related Citi policies and standards.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for EUC prevention, management, and elimination.
- Support the team in providing guidance and partnership to stakeholders across various functions.
- Prepare and deliver concise status updates, highlighting issues, challenges, risks, and proposed solutions to senior management, stakeholders, and partners.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to problem-solving efforts, incorporating diverse perspectives from partners.
- Assist in driving cultural change towards improved data literacy and understanding of data controls and data quality, potentially contributing to EUC Roadshow sessions and similar forums.
Management:
- Support the planning and delivery of various data-related initiatives; cross-train to ensure ability to handle functions within Governance, Program Management, and Remediation needs which may change based on capacity
- Contribute to the resolution of issues, challenges, and risks, incorporating input from cross-functional team members.
- Provide regular and timely status updates to management and stakeholders.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with exposure to data governance concepts.
- Basic understanding of data management processes, tools, and applications.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$90,080.00 - $135,120.00
