This role is located in EMEA Sanctions Screening Hub in Olsztyn.

EMEA SSH L1 Trade team is responsible for sanction screening of trade transactions for EMEA countries.

Sanction L1 Analyst is an entry level role - the primary responsibility is to review sanctions concerns generated while trade transaction screening as per applicable regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and disposition of sanctions matches in accordance with sanctions regulations and Citi standards
  • Ensure potential matches are reviewed and resolved in a timely manner while complying with Citi internal policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines
  • Cooperation and daily communication with other Citi branches
  • Dealing with Ad-hoc requests such as data analysis, preparation of reports
  • Participation in tests of applications scheduled outside of working hours
  • Taking part in regular courses, making sure that you are up to date with sanctions regulations
  • Participation in L1 Trade sanctions process centralization


Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of English written and spoken (B2 level or higher)
  • Great communication skills (written and verbal), ability to work in team
  • Having "an eye for detail", being able to read the context of a given document
  • Ability to work under time pressure and in constantly changing environment
