Corporate Banking Relationship Associate - 2025


Responsibilities:

  • Be in daily contact with corporate clients, answering clients’ quarries & ad hoc requests

  • Build relationships with various internal and external audiences to ensure timely problem resolutions and to provide support for a range of audience needs and services. Perform financial and operational investigations

  • Responsible for operational effectiveness of clients’ relationships and building trusted relationships with client

  • Manage internal processes related to corporate clients’ portfolio

  • Responsible for credit lines system control, certain credit approval memos, manage loans booking, monitoring, draw-down requests, collateral monitoring and credit maintenance generally

  • Be a key contact for routine credit requests/problem escalation and resolution

  • Responsible for credit documentation amendments and credit review workflow management

  • Assist Relationship Managers/Bankers and Risk Analysts with relationship reviews and client portfolios

  • Assist in completion of internal FX, Derivatives, LGs, LCs and/or other credit related process

  • Monitor cash management products implementation

  • Complete account opening documentation forms, including KYC, etc.

  • Take responsibility for setting up client in the internal systems and for correct client mapping

  • Effectively manage and control AML and compliance issues including management of corrective actions. Cooperate with Product Partners and Bankers to perform various activities for KYC requirements, including timely origination, monitoring, renewals and completion across all product and marketing levels

  • Clients’ correspondence handling

  • Assist in the preparation of support discussions for clients, ensures designee approvals/deferrals in place, and ensure discussion is lodged in Citi Risk Approvals

  • Assist the team in ad hoc activities (e.g. preparing presentations to clients and/or internal materials related to the deals in pipeline and execution)


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, business behavior, stress resistant, client focused, results oriented, attention to detail  

  • Fluent English

  • Proven planning, negotiation and analytical skills

  • Knowledge of bank products including cash management and treasury products

  • Consistently demonstrate a professional attitude

  • Highly motivated


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
