Applications Development Sr Programmer Analyst - C12 - PUNE
The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas
- Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users
- Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement
- Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality
- Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems
- Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
- Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience
- Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
- Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
- Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Financial Adjustments & Entry Module(FAEM) and Citi Workflow Management(CWM) Senior Programmer Analyst is a mid level position responsible for delivering complex solutions in coordination with the Technology Team. The overall objective of this role is to make significant contributions to implement changes, updates and modernizations while integrating with wider ledger (and other Citi Apps) applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards to define and develop solutions to high level problems
• Contribute to modernizing applications using service-oriented architecture implementations Micro Services and design patterns orchestration by Choreography, Chassis Patterns, caching. Use Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, APLI Gateway, Spring Security, REST WebServices and APIs for building domain driven micro-services.
• Implement services using Java, JSON, SQL, PL/SQL, XML. Write backend packages, procedures, functions, views in Oracle to support data persistence and validation.
• Develop new services using software development frameworks Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Security, JPA. Integrate multiple service-oriented applications using messaging and middleware technologies Hadoop, JMS, TIBCO, Solace, Kafka, Grafana, Splunk.
• Implement custom workflow solutions for support Maker/Checker workflow in JBPM. Support UI migration from Ext-JS to Angular UI.
• Use SOAP UI, Postman, AppDynamics. Deploy services as containers in Enterprise Container System (ECS) using Docker and Kubernetes. Work on POCs to implement RabbitMQ messaging, EAP connectivity, Snowflake integration. Quality management using JIRA.
• Develop application methodologies and standards for program analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• Utilize advanced knowledge of supported main system flows and comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas, including Java, Spring
• Consult with end users to identify system function specifications and incorporate into overall system design
• Allocate work, and act as an advisor/coach developers, analysts, and new team members

Qualifications:
• 8-12 years of finance technology experience including Java, J2EE, JMS, Docker, Kubernetes, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, XML, SOAP UI, Postman, AppDynamics, JIRA, Hadoop, Spring Boot, REST Web Services
• Citi Ledger and Components subject matter expertise preferred.
• Experience in implementing complex solutions and projects
• Experience in systems analysis and programming of all underlying software in CWM and FAEM (Java, Oracle, Snowflake, Solace)
• Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) in CWM, FAEM and finance adjustments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of client core business functions
• Demonstrated leadership, project management, and development skills
• Relationship and consensus building skills
