Applications Development Group Manager

Citibank N.A. seeks an Applications Development Group Manager for its Rutherford, NJ location.

Duties: Develop transformation logic to support data consumption requirements. Assess quality of data during development and test phases of the projects and own the resolution of the data quality issues by working with development teams. Work with technology/business teams to provide standards-based solution. Develop or enhance standards for logical and physical model development. Develop mappings of sources to target databases, including documentation of transformation rules. Communicate regularly with architects and modelers working in parallel tracks to maintain consistency of models and other deliverables. Oversee the development of scripts to correct bad data or to implement data model changes as required. This position will oversee nine (9) direct reports having the position title of IT Business Lead Analyst. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation providing software engineering support. Seven (7) years of experience must include: Utilizing PL/SQL data to create tools for data validation; Creating code migration validations between lower to higher environments; Solving production and operational issues; Utilizing inline Unix scripts to maintain data validations for outbound files; Developing mappings of sources to target databases, including documentation of transformation rules; Preparing technical workflow design for end-to-end integration; Building large Data Warehouses (30+ TB) and back-office systems; and Analyzing data behaviors of financial product processors for Personal Loan, Mortgages, credit card. 40 hrs./wk.
