Vaga: Advogado(a) Pleno(a) no Departamento Jurídico do Banco Citibank S.A (Contencioso e Consultivo Cível).

Área: Jurídico Contencioso. A célula trata de ações consideradas como relevantes para o negócio, seja por conta das matérias envolvidas (operações bancárias), dos valores envolvidos e/ou da necessidade de preservação da imagem da Instituição.

Descrição geral das atribuições: a pessoa selecionada acompanhará a rotina da área, executará controles administrativos diversos, contribuirá com a defesa dos interesses do banco nas ações judiciais relevantes, auxiliará nos reportes periódicos para times externos e áreas sensíveis de negócio, redigirá relatórios, participará de reuniões com os escritórios externos e com as equipes internas do banco, elaborará pareceres jurídicos às áreas comerciais e de produtos, e avaliará riscos de natureza jurídica e financeira.

Curso de formação: Direito.

Perfil: pessoa disciplinada, organizada, que saiba trabalhar em equipe, proativa e atenta.

Responsabilidades:

• fornecer assessoria jurídica para os clientes internos do banco, tais como Business, Produtos, RH, Special Assets e outras áreas do Legal, sobre temas processuais relevantes, incluindo questões relacionadas a direito civil, direito falimentar e direito empresarial;
• revisar peças processuais enviadas pelos prestadores externos com criticidade, reportar e discutir questões importantes, e, se o caso, sugerir melhorias e desenvolver teses para manifestações judiciais;
• avaliar riscos jurídicos e financeiros de nossas ações judiciais, reportando-os adequadamente e tempestivamente, bem como suportar análises de risco durante processos decisórios das áreas negociais do banco;
• trabalhar pelo desenvolvimento dos produtos bancários relacionados às áreas de negócios atendidas pela equipe;
• preparar reportes, sempre que solicitados, para áreas locais do banco e para a regional do Legal;
• conduzir procedimentos de auditorias internas e externa;
• supervisionar o trabalho de escritórios externos e demais prestadores de serviços;
• colaborar ativamente com tarefas diárias administrativas para o bom funcionamento da equipe.

Requisitos:

• formação concluída em Direito;
• experiência relevante de mais de 5 anos na área de aplicação da vaga;
• inscrição ativa na OAB;
• inglês em nível avançado;
• possuir comunicação escrita e oral clara e concisa;
• ter habilidades analíticas e organizacionais;
• atuar como parceiro e ter espírito coletivo de trabalho;
• conhecimentos apurados em Direito Civil, Direito Processual Civil e Direito Empresarial;
• pós-graduação lato sensu ou stricto sensu em Direito Civil, Direito Processual Civil ou Direito Empresarial será considerada um diferencial.

Job Opportunity: Lawyer in the Legal Department of Banco Citibank S.A (Civil Litigation and Advisory).

Area: CivilLitigation. The team deals with lawsuits considered relevant to the business, whether due to the matters involved (banking operations), the amounts involved and/or the need to preserve the Institution's image.

General description: the lawyer will monitor the routine of the area, carry out administrative controls, contribute to the defense of the bank's interests in relevant lawsuits, assist in periodic reports to the regional legal and sensitive business areas, write reports, participate meetings with the bank's law firms and internal teams, will prepare research to provide legal opinions to the commercial areas (sales and products), will conduct lawsuits in the team's portfolio and will assess legal and financial risks.

Responsibilities:

• provide legal advice to the bank's internal clients, such as Business, Products, HR, Special Assets and other areas of Legal, on relevant legal topics, including issues related to Civil Law, Bankruptcy Law and Commercial Law;
• critically review procedural documents sent by external suppliers, report and discuss important issues, and, if applicable, suggest improvements and develop theses for judicial petitions;
• evaluate legal and financial risks of our lawsuits, reporting them appropriately and timely, as well as supporting risk analyzes during decision-making processes in the bank's business areas;
• work to develop banking products related to the business areas advised by the team;
• prepare reports, whenever requested, for local areas of the bank and for the regional;
• conduct internal and external audit procedures.
• supervise the work of law firms and other suppliers;
• actively collaborate with daily administrative tasks for the smooth functioning of the team;

Requirements:

• completed Law degree.
• relevant experience of more than 5 years in the area of ​​application;
• active registration with the OAB;
• English at an advanced level;
• clear and concise written and oral communication;
• analytical and organizational skills;
• act as a partner and have a collective work spirit;
• great knowledge of Civil Law, Civil Procedural Law and Commercial Law;
• lato sensu or stricto sensu postgraduate degree in Civil Law, Civil Procedural Law or Business Law will be considered an advantage.
