In this role, you’re expected to :

  • Drive strategic projects globally from conception to completion based on the Deposit business’s key priorities. Partner directly with various groups within and outside of the Deposits team to analyze data and develop recommendations on high-priority strategic initiatives.
  • Lead ongoing simplification initiatives (i.e. report simplification, etc.).
  • Engage in cost management activities, such as validating spending and cost saving initiatives, monitoring savings initiatives and expenses, as well as monitoring consistency between financial information, productivity information and HR reports.
  • Support the Technology Book of Work planning process across the Deposit team and monitor execution on an ongoing basis.
  • Support key local initiatives in APAC.
  • Support CEAM and process mapping activities globally for the Deposit team.
  • Develop monthly metrics to monitor and measure impact of achievement to goals.
  • Engage in monitoring and execution of regulatory and IA deliverables – identifying challenges early on and providing solutions cross-teams.
  • Drive continuity of business and records management work for Deposits.
  • Partner closely on Transformation and Consent Order related work within the team to ensure that issues are raised early, and progress is on track for delivery.
  • Support the development of materials for Quarterly Business Reviews and strategy/financial updates.
  • Manage ad-hoc requests from the central teams, functional partners, and the Head of Wealth Deposits and Balance Sheet.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in financial services
  • A self-starter, extremely organized, motivated and able to work independently
  • Strategically minded with track record of execution excellence
  • Knowledge of key business management activities including headcount management, budgeting and financial acumen
  • Hands-on orientation with the demonstrated ability to set up internal processes to communicate and resolve issues
  • Able to engage with senior leaders clearly and concisely. Excellent communication skills required in order to communicate complex messages succinctly and influence a range of audiences
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage many tasks at once
  • Ability to exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
  • Knowledge of the Wealth business preferred
