Applications Development Senior Manager

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Manager for its Tampa, Florida location.

Duties: Design and develop software systems, relational databases, and system applications in multiple computer languages and cross-platform systems for Citi’s Global Wealth Management business. Identify system requirements and translate business needs into enterprise solutions. Use the principles of web tier, middleware and back-end systems applicable to the solution architecture. Evaluate hardware and software platforms to develop data warehousing blueprints, and build dimensional and relational databases. Review data integration solutions, data models, and metadata repository for improved structure supportive of the business solutions, systems efficiencies and faster performance. Integrate data systems using Extract Transform and Load (ETL) and other tools including Ab Initio, Informatica, Oracle, PL/SQL, Unix, Hyperion Brio, SQL Server, and Sybase. Define ETL framework and provide related subject matter expertise, and evaluate and compare ETL tools. Provide technical directions in projects to implement large-scale data warehouse and business intelligence (DW/BI) solutions, working in distributed development environment. Build and maintain data warehouses and data marts that serve client reporting. Develop solutions to integrate legacy data marts with No SQL databases and semi-structured data types including JSON and Avro. Create Ab Initio artifacts using Conduct IT and continuous flows. Use portfolio analytics and performance measurement tools including Anova for development of performance calculations engine and investment data management solutions. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related field and 5 years of experience as a Technical Lead, Software Developer, Data Engineer, or related position involving design and development of software and data solutions systems for the financial services industry. 5 years of experience must include: ETL framework and tools - Ab Initio, Informatica, Talend; Business intelligence tools - Business Objects and Cognos; Data integration solutions, data models, and metadata repository development; Data marts integration with No SQL data bases and semi-structured data types including JSON and Avro; Oracle SQL, Unix, Hyperion Brio, SQL Server, Sybase, Apache Hbase, Hive; Business value assessment and business requirements elaboration; Wealth management domain knowledge; and Investment data management and analytics tool - Anova.
