Apps Dev Tech Lead Analyst
Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Tech Lead Analyst for its Tampa, FL location.
Duties: Enrich and support regulatory reporting on behalf of Citigroup to various jurisdictions including Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), Ontario Securities Commission (OSC), and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Enhance the application of the strategic Big Data platform to adhere to various re-writes for these jurisdictions as per their compliance dates. Work with business analysts, architects, and the user community to translate user requirements into scalable solutions. Responsible for developing prototypes, unit test cases, designing artifacts, and real implementations involving complicated computer concepts and algorithms. Conduct research on new products and technologies to ensure stakeholders are aware of the latest products available. Ensure that application components are built to the highest standards across the application lifecycle. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation performing application development activities. Five (5) years of experience must include: Working with computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, databases, and operating systems to design solutions and implement enterprise applications; Working with Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Batch, RESTful Web services, design patterns, and databases to develop API-based modules to interact with SQL services to perform data storage, search, retrieval, and reporting/sharing with dependent applications; Developing reusable message-oriented middleware applications and SOAP based web services using IBM Websphere Message Broker, IBM Websphere Message Queue, Core Java, JAX-WS and JMS; Developing high-performance multi-threaded enterprise applications with an efficient and scalable data structure to store data as per business use cases and design and develop processes, jobs and scheduling engines for automated processing; Creating enterprise applications with Microservices using SOA methodology, MQ and WAS; and Working with JavaScript, HTML5, AJAX, and JSON to perform post migration activities after application release including configuration of new jobs or modification of existing ones.
